SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a communication device for transmitting/receiving uncompressed image data transmitted via a digital interface, such as a high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI). Said result is achieved by transmitting HDMI uncompressed image data from the HDMI source device, which processes the dynamic range, and displaying the corresponding brightness in the HDMI consumer device. When the HDMI input is switched, the television receiver transmits the information request for transfer to the HDMI source device at the destination of the input switching and obtains the definition information of the dynamic range conversion of the uncompressed image data at the intended point in time. In addition, when it is possible to obtain the dynamic range conversion information of the uncompressed image data, the television receiver minimizes the transmission of the dynamic range conversion determination information from the Blu-ray disc recording apparatus by retransmission of the reception recognition information.

EFFECT: providing an appropriate method for transmitting/receiving uncompressed image data for which dynamic range processing via HDMI has been performed.
