SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and concerns a composition for treating pancreatic cancer in a patient, where the composition contains as an active ingredient a polypeptide consisting of SEQ ID NO: 1. Where the eotaxin level (wt./vol.), measured in the serum of each patient before treatment, has an increased value of at least 10 % compared with the average value in the population of people with this type of cancer.
