SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to a composition for treating an individual suffering pancreatic cancer, containing as an active ingredient a therapeutically effective amount of a polypeptide, consisting of SEQ ID NO: 1, wherein the composition is administered simultaneously with a chemotherapeutic agent for treating pancreatic cancer; wherein the composition does not reduce serum eotaxin level, when the composition is administered to an individual concurrently with a chemotherapeutic agent for treating pancreatic cancer; and the chemotherapeutic agent for treating pancreatic cancer is gemcitabine, capecitabine or a combination thereof. Group of inventions also relates to a kit for preventing immune function loss by a chemotherapeutic agent for treating pancreatic cancer, containing said composition and cytostatic or cytotoxic agent.
