FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine emission control systems. Disclosed is a structure for supplying high pressure air to an internal combustion engine. Said structure includes an inlet, having a high pressure outlet, a valve cover with an inlet chute defining a high pressure air flow channel, and a gas and oil separator with a flow accelerator with inlet and outlet sides. Said high pressure outlet of the inlet is connected to one end of the channel, while the accelerator is connected with the other end of the channel. Said input and output sides of the accelerator are connected to the channel. Said separator contains upper and lower chambers separated by a partition containing a gas-oil diffuser. Said inlet side is connected to the lower chamber, and the outlet side is connected to the line designed to return oil to the crankcase. Said flow accelerator can be any type of fluid accelerator, including, but not limited to, a Venturi pump or jet pump.
EFFECT: internal air supply via the intake chutes integrated into the valve cover has been proposed.
