FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric propulsion engines (EPE) and stands for their testing. In the method of testing electric propulsion in a vacuum chamber, the expiring working fluid of the electric propulsion is braked on a protective target and precipitated on the cryopanel, the precipitated working fluid of the EPE is gasified from the cryopanel by heating, then the gasified working fluid is sent for cleaning, compression and secondary use for the operation of electric propulsion.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce the amount of xenon during the regeneration of cryopanels by gasifying the working fluid from its surface and reducing the cost of conducting electric propulsion tests.
