SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the building materials industry, in particular to equipment for the production of bricks and other ceramic products by the method of semi-dry pressing. Punch of the press includes a body and a stamp mounted on it with interchangeable profile linings fixed on its faces. Each interchangeable pad includes mounting, side, and support elements. Replaceable plates are installed with the possibility of fixing their extended position in the direction of the walls of the cavity of the matrix, providing a constant gap between the walls of the cavity of the matrix and the punch. On the sides of the stamp along its perimeter, grooves are made into which the installation elements of interchangeable plates are inserted and secured by means of clamping screws. In the grooves between the end of the installation element and the stamp on its perimeter are adjusting shims.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving the quality of ceramic products molded by the semi-dry pressing method by providing a technological gap between the wall of the die cavity and the punch for air to escape from the moldable mass.
