FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: diaphragm press containing frame, upper and lower architraves, diaphragm, stiff plate transmitting the pressing force of diaphragm is equipped with coaxially mounted between themselves punch, die and blocking rod as well as gate feeder. The stiff plate is placed in central part of diaphragm. The punch is set up on stiff plate. The die is freely placed on punch. The blocking rod is fastened in upper architrave. The gate of gate feeder is set up for horizontal shifting in the gap between die and punch. The blocking rod is mounted in vertical channel of upper architrave for regulating the position in height. The blocking rod forms with vertical channel of architrave a self-braking thread pair. The space between the face end of blocking rod and upper plane of gate is chosen equal to 0.1-1.0 mm. Concentric crimps are made along diaphragm periphery. The transversal dimensions of blocking rod are larger than those of punch. Bearing rod is mounted in lower architrave coaxially with blocking rod under diaphragm. EFFECT: simpler design. 6 cl, 3 dwg
