SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular, to vertical plunger pumps for pumping high-viscosity liquids with a content of mechanical impurities and gas, and can be in borehole sucker-rod pumps. Pump contains a cylinder with a central hole in the bottom with the formation of a collar, a suction valve seat that has the ability to interact with the collar, and a locking body, made in the form of a sleeve with an upper shoulder with the possibility of overlapping the radial holes made in the lower part of the cylinder, and the plunger with a discharge valve. Plunger in the lower part is provided with a neck of a smaller diameter with the formation of an annular space between the cylinder and the neck. Seat of the suction valve is made in response to the central hole and is placed with the possibility of overlapping the latter and is spring-loaded relative to the collar by an elastic element. Seat is installed with the possibility of limited emphasis axial movement. In the lower part of the cylinder, above the radial holes, an additional seat of the suction valve is made in the form of a collar in response to the collar of the sleeve. Plunger is installed with the possibility of the formation of two chambers of variable volume – upper and lower.
EFFECT: volume flow is increased by increasing the area of the saddle aisle and reducing the delay in opening the suction valve.
