FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to packaging (1) for a powdered material, comprising tub (17) for receiving material, wherein the tub has base (5) and peripheral wall (7) with top edge (6); outer sleeve (18) around at least the peripheral wall of the tub, thereby supporting the tub; removable membrane (11) separating the powdered material in the tub from the environment; and lid assembly (9) containing peripheral rim (3) attached over the upper edge of the peripheral wall of the tub and forming wide access opening (8), and lid (4) pivotally attached to the rim for re-closing the access opening. In addition, the invention relates to a method for manufacturing said packaging for a powdered material, comprising pushing the tub into the sleeve so that at least the peripheral wall of the tub is enclosed by the sleeve, whereby the sleeve supports the tub and the tub and the sleeve form a container for the powdered material.
EFFECT: proposed is a container design for powdered material.
