FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for production and filling of package (1) with powdered food product (21), for example, baby food or dry milk mixture, wherein the method comprises steps of taking thermoformed tray (2) having side walls (16) and base (14) forming a product receiving space (20), filling the product receiving space with a powdered food product and placing membrane (6) on open neck (15) of the tray for sealing product contained therein; and folding cardboard board (28) with multiple panels around filled tray to produce cardboard sleeve (4), wherein cardboard sleeve comprises peripheral wall enveloping at least side walls of tray.
EFFECT: invention also relates to a package for such powdered food products manufactured by this method.
