FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of packaging and storage, mainly of food products. Solid thermoformed plastic tray (10) is provided with a base (11), side walls extending upwards and slightly outwards from the said base (11), the primary flange (20) integrally connected with the upper edges of the side walls and extending outwards along the upper periphery of the side walls, a rim, i.e. flange (22) extending downwards and tapering slightly outwards from the outer periphery of the primary flange (20), and a secondary flange (22), i.e. hanging down part extending outwards from the lower edge of the rim. At that, the tray comprises a plurality of stiffening ribs extending substantially vertically along the rim and outwards relative to the tray housing.

EFFECT: according to the present invention the tray has improved rigidity and resistance to deformation and bending, and improving is obtained without increasing the amount of plastic material used in manufacture of the tray, but due to its geometric implementation.
