SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. Shredder consists of a cylindrical body with a lid at the top and a bottom at the bottom, a receiving hopper, a cutting device located in the casing and including a disk with horizontal knives, as well as the contradiction, unloading throat and electric motor, kinematically connected with the disk. Electric motor is mounted on the housing cover by means of a flange which is included in its structure, in such a way that the axis of rotation of its shaft coincides with the axis of rotation of the disk. Receiving hopper is also located on the lid, for this purpose, a lid is provided in the lid for the electric motor shaft and a window for passing the tuberous root from the receiving hopper into the body cavity. On the shaft from the side of its free end, a hard disk is fixed. Body is mounted on the base by means of racks vertically and with the formation under its bottom and base of free space for placing the unloading neck and the container for the finished product. Discharge neck is made in the form of a funnel, with the formation of a conical part at the top and a cylindrical part at the bottom. In this case, the axis of symmetry of the funnel coincides with the axis of rotation of the shaft. Its conical part is attached to the outer surface of the bottom, and the cylindrical part of the funnel is directed into the container under the finished product. In the bottom, concentric holes are made for passing the finished product from the body cavity to the discharge neck, the rotation axes of which are on a circle with the center of rotation coinciding with the axis of rotation of the shaft.
