SUBSTANCE: device for grinding roots and tubers consists of two stages of grinding. The first stage consists of two horizontal flat removable knives, crossbars and stops. The knives are mounted on a vertical shaft at an angle to the rotation plane. The stops are fixed on the inner surface of the cylinder chamber storage. The second stage includes flat knives and a roller support. The knives are installed on the ring. The vertical shafts of the first and second stages are connected through a bearing support. The shafts can be independently rotated relative to each other.
