FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of navigation instrumentation and can be used in devices displaying the status of vehicles. Device, configured to display the navigation route to the destination of the considered vehicle, includes navigation device 13, display controller 16 and display 17. Navigation device calculates the navigation route. Display controller draws an arrow that has a shaft with a tip of an arrow at one end of the shaft, as a graphic image of navigation instructions for navigation along a navigation route, calculated so that the arrow looks like a three-dimensional object, in which the section of the arrow with a large width has a large height and the section of the arrow with a small width has a small height. Display displays the image drawn by the display controller in the display area provided in such a way that it overlaps the position of the windscreen.
