FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the system for providing an additional view to a vehicle driver based on video cameras. Device (1) during displaying determines the angle of rotation when taxiing the vehicle by using the angle sensor (15) when taxiing and changes the position of the virtual point of view behind the considered vehicle, based on the determined turning angle when taxiing. Then, the display aid device (1) converts images captured using multiple cameras, for example, the front view camera (10) and the rear view camera (13), into the image from above of the downward view from the virtual point of view and displays the transformed image from above on the display (50) with the icon of the considered vehicle superimposed on the image from above, the icon of the considered vehicle indicates the position of the vehicle.
EFFECT: technical result is the elimination of blind zones for the driver of the vehicle.
