FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to road construction, in particular to a method of building pavement, and can be used on agricultural roads with low traffic intensity in arid regions of Russia. Method of erecting a pavement consists in the fact that at first profiling and compaction of a road bed is carried out, then a working layer 10–20 cm thick is made of sandy soil. After that, the sand bed is moistened with a concentrated 0.85–1.50 % aqueous solution of technical lignosulfonate of normal temperature and at a rate of 2–5 l/m² surface layer. Impregnated layer of sandy soil is compacted with a combined roller equipped with a vibrator weighing 10–15 tons in 8–10 passes one track to achieve the required compaction coefficient K_c=0.95–1.00. Above the impregnated layer of sandy soil, two layers of pavement are erected, while the lower layer is made of porous coarse-grained asphalt concrete 6–7 cm thick, and the upper layer is made of dense or high-density fine-grained asphalt concrete with thickness of 3–5 cm with alternate compaction of each layer with a smooth drum roller with mass of 10–15 tons in 4 passes in one track.
