FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of reinforcing movable sands during construction of motor roads in deserts, and can be used in reinforcing sand around bases of supports of power transmission lines and main pipelines. Method of reinforcing movable sands during road construction involves depositing a binding binder solution onto a sandy surface. Preliminary, sand surface profiling is performed on roadway width. As binder for sand surface mounting of roadway, concentrated aqueous solution of technical lignosulphonate of normal temperature is used with flow rate of 1.3–2.4 kg/m2. Impregnated sand surface is compacted by combined roller with weight of 10–15 tons, equipped with vibrator, in 8–10 passes on one track.
EFFECT: high strength and operational reliability of road surfaces when building them in deserts.
