FIELD: lighting engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of manufacturing a curved filter, which, under the influence of incident light, changes its state from light transmitting to dimming. Method of manufacturing the filter contains the steps of forming the first transparent electrically conductive layer of electrodes on the first optically transparent flexible glass layer; bending said first optically transparent flexible glass layer the way the first optically transparent flexible glass layer becomes curved; locating a mixture of liquid crystals on said first transparent electrically conductive layer of electrodes of said curved first optically transparent flexible glass layer; forming a second transparent electrically conductive layer of electrodes on the second optically transparent flexible glass layer; attaching the second optically transparent flexible glass layer to the curved first optically transparent flexible glass layer so that the second optically transparent flexible glass layer is bent, and a first transparent electrically conductive layer of electrodes, a second transparent electrically conductive layer of electrodes and a mixture of liquid crystals are arranged between the first optically transparent flexible glass layer and the second optically transparent flexible glass layer.

EFFECT: invention provides a reduction in the weight of the product and the expansion of the field of view for the user.
