SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a binder material suitable for the formation of a concrete type material. Binder material suitable for the formation of concrete material contains, in terms of dry matter, a main component comprising 50–95 % by weight of a binder material, where said main component contains at least 20 % by weight aluminum oxide Al2O3 in terms of dry matter and includes crushed granulated blast furnace slag and possibly at least one additional substance selected from the group consisting of clay, limestone and fly ash, and an activating component comprising 5–50 % by weight of a binder material, where the activating component contains aluminum sulphate and a mixture of sodium hydroxide, which contains sodium carbonate Na2CO3 and calcium oxide CaO, the binder material contains, in terms of dry matter, crushed granulated blast furnace slag 35–95 wt.%, aluminum sulfate Al2(SO4)3 1–25 wt.%, the mixture forming sodium hydroxide, 4–35 wt.%, additional substance 0–5 wt.%. Method of obtaining a concrete material, characterized by mixing the above binder material with water and aggregated material and ensuring the solidification of the mixture. Concrete material, characterized in that obtained by the above method. Invention is developed in dependent items of the formula.
