FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neurosurgery and vascular surgery. Preoperative planning is performed with marking done on the patient's skin by triplex scanning of the common carotid artery and pathological tortuosity. Skin is incised. Access to the pathological tortuosity of the internal carotid artery is performed, followed by reduction, resection of tortuosity, and the implementation of the anastomosis with the original mouth of the internal carotid artery. Access to the pathological tortuosity of the internal carotid artery is performed using endoscopic assistance. To do this, when performing markings on the skin of the patient, additional areas are marked that ensure the endoscope leads to the bifurcation point of the common carotid artery followed by visualization of the orifice of the internal carotid artery, movement of the endoscope tube with simultaneous sequential dissection of the structures surrounding the ICA in the direction of the pathological tortuosity.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce trauma surgery, by minimizing the skin incision, minimal trauma of the anatomical structures surrounding the internal carotid artery; risk of developing infectious postoperative complications; severity of pain, as well as provide a high cosmetic effect.
