SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biotechnology and ecology and includes a preparation for the biodegradation of methanol and a method for its preparation. Invention can be used for biodegradation of environmental pollution (soil, ground, sea, fresh and saline water), as well as technological structures with methanol and related petroleum products. Proposed drug for the biodegradation of methanol, including the association of bacteria Bacillus megaterium VKPM B-607, Methylobacterium sp. VKPM B-5603, Acinetobacter calcoaceticus VKPM B-3780 on a natural sorbent ion exchanger and method for producing it. Method of obtaining the drug involves the separate cultivation of bacterial strains of Bacillus megaterium VKPM B-607, Methylobacterium sp. VKPM B-5603 and Acinetobacter calcoaceticus VKPM B-3780 to the content of cells 10¹¹–10¹² mcl/ml. Mix the culture fluids of the strains until the bacteria content 10¹² mcl/ml, followed by spraying in the form of an aerosol on a glauconite-containing sorbent. Capillary-chemical dehydration of the mixture is carried out by feeding heated to 40 °C air. When the moisture content in the final biological product is 4 %, the process is stopped.
