FIELD: electrical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: converter device (2) for collecting energy comprises converter (4) and associated control device (5). Converter (4) contains first charging circuit (11) for charging galvanic electricity storage (8) when a positive voltage is applied to device (3) for energy collection, and a second charging circuit for charging galvanic electricity storage device (8) when negative voltage is applied to device (3) for energy collection. Each of the mentioned charging circuits (11, 12) has electronic switch (13, 15) containing a series circuit including two switching elements (Q1p, Q2p, Q1n, Q2n), and drive (15, 16) of electrical energy connected in series with it. Control device (5) serves to actuate electronic switches (13, 15) based on the polarity of applied voltage (vh) devices (3) for collecting energy.
EFFECT: creation of a simple, reliable and efficient device for collecting energy for the converter, which can operate both from a voltage of constant polarity and from a voltage of alternating polarity.
