Image display means comprise a display device and a device capable of changing an optical characteristic, which is placed in front of the screen of the display device and connected to the display device, wherein said device comprises a material having a switched optical configuration, wherein the image display means further comprises a control unit configured to control the optical characteristic of the device based on the operating state of the display device.
EFFECT: providing an image display means configured to control an optical characteristic of a display device in an off state or standby state.
