FIELD: agriculture; engineering.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to agricultural machine building. In the method, the agricultural vehicle includes a frame member, which is connected to a harvesting header and a merger device, a lift controller, which is in communication with a direction sensor, a direction input device and a device selector for selectively turning on and off the automatic re-positioning function of the lift controller. Said directional input device controls the direction of the agricultural vehicle. Said lift controller automatically re-positions the harvesting header and merger device to their working or non-working positions.
EFFECT: group of inventions facilitates the work of an agricultural vehicle operator.
