MULTI-NOZZLE JET ENGINE Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC B63H11/10 B64B1/36

Abstract RU 2678913 C1

FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: propeller contains eight nozzles arranged centrally symmetrically and interconnected by a system of channels, and pressure devices in the channels to control the magnitude and direction of the pressure in the flow of the working fluid in the system of channels. Nozzles are made with the ability to control the direction of emission of the jet of the working fluid into the external environment and provide both the flow of the working medium from the external medium into the propulsion unit and the emission of the working medium from the propulsion medium to the external medium. Propulsion channel system contains eight active channels with pressure devices, four intermediate channels and a central channel. Each of these eight active channels with pressure devices is connected at one end to one of the nozzles. All active channels with pressure devices with their other ends are pairwise connected to each other, forming four nodes connecting the active channels. To each of these nodes of connection of active channels one of four channels is connected at one end. Four intermediate channels with their other ends are connected in pairs to each other, forming two nodes for connecting intermediate channels, and the central channel is connected with their ends to two nodes for connecting intermediate channels.

EFFECT: energy losses in the working fluid flows in the propulsion flow channels are reduced and, due to this, its efficiency increases.
