FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: centrifugal propelling device comprises a rotor rotating relative to the axis of rotation and a body connected to it and not rotating relative to the axis of rotation of the rotor with channels in the rotor and the body for passage of the working substance through these channels. Rotor channels have inlet ends for supply of the working substance in them, which are least remote from the axis of rotation and outlet ends that are most remote from the axis of rotation of the rotor. Channels are evenly arranged along the circumference relative to the axis of rotation of the rotor. Outlet ends of rotor channels are arranged relative to the inlet ends of body channels so that there is capability to send the working substance during rotor rotation directly from outlet ends of rotor channels into the inlet ends of the body channels, evenly arranged along the circumference relative to the axis of rotation of the rotor. Maximum height of cross sections of inlet ends of body channels is more or equal to the maximum height of cross sections of outlet ends of rotor channels in the plane passing via the axis of rotation of the rotor. Internal axes of inlet ends of body channels are directed to the rotor at the angle providing for minimum losses of the speed discharge of the working substance leaking from the rotor to the body. Internal axes of outlet ends of body channels are directed along one direction with their possible deviation relative to each other of not more than 45 degrees.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of using energy sent to working substance, increased efficiency factor and expansion of fields of device application.
