FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to super high frequency technology and is intended to reduce radar visibility of military equipment, such as aircraft. Ultra-wideband absorbent coating contains dielectric layers on the surface of which a two-dimensional periodic grid metal strips is applied. These grids are located on the hole surfaces of the layers with the exception of outer surface of the last layer, on which the conductive reflecting screen is located. Optical thickness of dielectric layers is equal to a quarter of the wavelength at the center frequency of the working range of absorbent coating.
EFFECT: technical result is to expand the working frequency band of absorbent coating.
