SUBSTANCE: absorbent coating contains a first and a second dielectric layer, a controlled layer which is in form of thin film of sprayed graphite, a third dielectric layer on one side of which there is a conducting reflecting shield; on the outer side of the first dielectric layer there is a first two-dimensional periodic array of strips of sprayed material; between the first and second dielectric layers there is a second two-dimensional periodic array of strips of sprayed metal; between the third dielectric layer and the conducting reflecting shield there is a third two-dimensional periodic array of strips of sprayed metal and a fourth dielectric layer; conductivity values of the first two-dimensional periodic array B1 and the second two-dimensional periodic array B2 are selected based on the condition of providing a minimum level of the reflected signal at a fixed frequency; conductivity of the third two-dimensional periodic array B3, thickness of the third and fourth dielectric layers are determined by performing numerical optimisation through the Nelder-Mead method based on the criterion of providing a minimum level of the reflected signal in the required frequency band.
