FIELD: the invention refers to antenna technique of microwave frequencies and may be used at designing radar aperture antennas.

SUBSTANCE: the arrangement for reducing the effective square of scattering of antennas is fulfilled in the shape of a three-layered heterogeneous structure located in front of the antenna. At that the three-layered heterogeneous structure is located in the feed of the antenna and the structure itself is fulfilled of in-series located the first two-dimensional-periodic grate of conducting strips or rods with conductivity B1 of the first air layer with thickness equal to one fourth of the average length of the working diapason of the lengths of the waves, of the second two-dimensional-periodic grate of conducting strips or rods with conductivity B2 of the second air layer with thickness equal to one fourth of the average length of the waves of the working diapason of the lengths of the waves and the third two-dimensional-periodic grate of conducting strips or rods with conductivity B3. At that the indicated conductivities of the grates are chosen out of the condition of providing the given modules and the coefficient phases of reflection of the signal of the own transmitter from the antenna and from the signal falling on the antenna with the aid of mathematical expressions.

EFFECT: reduces effective square of scattering of radar, increases their sensitiveness (increases range of action) and reduces the mass of the arrangement.
