SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the pharmaceutical industry, in particular to an agent for the treatment of purulent wounds by the method of antimicrobial photodynamic therapy. Agent for the treatment of purulent wounds by the method of antimicrobial photodynamic therapy is a lyophilisate of the following composition: holosens 10 mg, D-mannitol 40–60 mg.
EFFECT: described above agent is effective and reduces the healing time of infected wounds.
