FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the tungsten carbide-based sintered carbide material production. Tungsten carbide-based sintered carbide material production method, comprising preparation of charge containing the tungsten carbide, cobalt powders and the nano-powder additive, its pressing and sintering. As the nano-powder additive an aluminum nano-powder is used. Charge is prepared by the above-mentioned additive mixing in ethyl alcohol using ultrasonic dispersion and the tungsten carbide and cobalt powders subsequent introduction into the resulting suspension. Resulting charge sintering is carried out in two stages, the first of which is carried out at a temperature of 550 °C to ensure the aluminum oxide dispersion-hardening particles formation from aluminum nanoparticles, and the second is at a temperature of 1,370 °C with provision of final sintering.
EFFECT: nano alumina Al2O3 dispersed inclusions prevent the tungsten carbide grains intensive recrystallization, contribute to the fragmentary nanostructured carbide composite material formation and preservation, increase in the composite structure and the strength properties system homogeneity.
