Task is solved by the fact that in a known method of preparation for the operation of a surgical electromechanical instrument (SEMI), based on its disinfection and sterilization, according to the invention, SEMI cutting element with a device for its attachment to the drive is connected to the capsular sleeve so that the cutting part of the element remains free for perform the cutting function, together everything is sterilized, packed in a sterile package and sent to the surgical room, where the drive, after disinfection, is also sent, with a battery attached to it, before the operation, the sterile capsular sleeve is opened, a drive with a battery is inserted into it, the drive is connected to the cutting element without disturbing the sterility of the outer surfaces of the capsular sleeve, after which the capsular sleeve is sterilely closed.

EFFECT: task to be solved by the claimed invention is the complete elimination of the possibility of reducing the reliability of the electric instrument during preparation for work, simplifying the process of its sterilization, reducing the number of elements to be sterilized.
