SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely to a serpentine surgical instrument and to a set of parts therefor. Serpentine surgical instrument comprises a hand-held end and a replaceable tool. The hand-held end comprises a retaining structure with a proximal seat and a distal seat, a wrist element and a manipulation element connected with the proximal seat of the retaining structure by means of the wrist element. The manipulation element is detachably connected with the wrist element. The replaceable tool is detachably connected with the distal seat. The wrist element is located on the distal surface of the proximal seat, and the wrist element is detachably connected with the manipulation element by means of a coupling apparatus. The coupling apparatus comprises a connecting pin located at the proximal end of the manipulation element and a hollow connecting shaft located on the wrist element and detachably connected with the connecting pin. Set of parts for the serpentine surgical instrument comprises the serpentine surgical instrument and a sterile package.

EFFECT: inventions are characterised by the fact that the coupling apparatus comprises a connecting pin located at the proximal end of the manipulation element and a hollow connecting shaft located on the wrist element and detachably connected with the connecting pin, providing a reliable detachable connection between the wrist element and the manipulation element.
