FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Disclosed is the viscose-based carbon filament production method for the glaucoma surgical treatment, including the viscose-based filament heat treatment, produced carbon filament activation in the CO2 flow at 900 °C for 45 minutes with the gas consumption of 20 l/h, its surface dressing in 40 % glucose solution and sterilization with gamma irradiation of 25 Mrad in the packaged form, characterized in that before the heat treatment, the viscose filament is washed in the sodium hyposulfite aqueous (15 %) solution at a temperature of 110 °C and drying in the ventilated drying chamber, and the heat treatment is carried out in two stages: carbonization to the temperature of 400 °C, high-temperature treatment is carried out with continuous transportation through the thermal heating zone in an inert atmosphere at temperature of 1,600 °C.
EFFECT: invention allows to achieve the persistent hypotensive effect in antiglaucomatous operations, when using appotransplants, used as the drains.
