FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, more specifically to a carbon dressing used in surgery, burn-beam therapy, is intended for treating pressure ulcers, trophic and chronic ulcers. Carbon dressing for first layer of atraumatic bandage as wound coating from carbon fibrous material is made by carbonization of initial viscose material in presence of pyrolysis catalyst with subsequent graphitization in inert medium and electrochemical treatment in medium of softened water. It differs by the fact that initial viscose material is made of viscose technical thread pre-impregnated with water emulsion of oligomer resin made on the basis of oligomer with content of silanol groups (5–15) % and treated before carbonization in air atmosphere at temperature of 180–200 °C for 0.5–1.0 h, wherein the relative tensile strength of the produced carbon fiber is 15–25 gf/tex, the moisture absorption of dressing is 125±20 %, air permeability 85±10 dm3/m2s, carbon content not less than 99.0 %.
EFFECT: improved operational properties of the dressing, including by reducing the coefficient of variation of moisture absorption of the dressing material.
