FIELD: soil or rock drilling; mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to components of a drill string made from copper alloys hardened as a result of spinodal decomposition. Drill component contains a copper alloy with nickel content of 8 to 20 wt. % and 5 to 11 wt. % of tin, wherein the drilling component is an external component for the drill string and comprises a main body, a first female connecting portion extending into the first end of the main body, and a second female connecting portion extending into the second end of the main body. Drill string comprises a first component, a second component and a component of a drill string, comprising a copper alloy with nickel and tin, hardened as a result of spinodal decomposition, wherein the drill string component connects the first component and the second component, and the channel passes through the first component, the second component and the drill string component.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at production of a drill string containing components having a combination of physical and mechanical properties, allowing to slow down development of destructive damages of a drill string during operation.
