SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for resampling an audio signal when encoding or decoding an audio signal. Method includes determining a future signal by adaptive linear prediction of a certain number of discrete values. Said number is determined depending on the selected resampling delay. Reference resampling vector is constructed from at least the discrete values of the current signal block and the determined discrete values of the future signal. Resampling filter is applied to the discrete values of the reference resampling vector.

EFFECT: technical result is high efficiency of resampling.
