FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a polyolefin composition comprising an ethylene-propylene copolymer and an ethylene-propylene-1-butene terpolymer. Polyolefin composition contains: A) from 19 % by weight to 50 % by weight of an ethylene-propylene copolymer with content of ethylene units of 1.5 % by weight to 6.0 % by weight; B) from 50 % by weight to 81 % by weight of an ethylene-propylene-1-butene terpolymer with content of ethylene units of 1.5 % by weight to 6.0 % by weight and content of 1-butene units ranging from 4.8 % by weight to 12.4 % by weight; where the sum of components A) and B) is 100; a composition characterised by the following properties: wt% C2/C4 from 0.22 to 3.0, where wt% C2 is the weight percentage of ethylene units, and wt% C4 is the weight percent of 1-butene units; the content of the fraction soluble in xylene at 25 °C, from 2 % by weight to 15 % by weight; molecular weight distribution (MWD) expressed as a ratio Mw/Mn greater than 4.0; elastic deformation at 200 °C, having a maximum value below 65×10-5 Pa-1 between 800 and 1,200 s.
EFFECT: creation of biaxially oriented films having improved properties in terms of surface tension after corona discharge treatment.
