FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composition which includes 1-hexene-propylene copolymer and a heterophase ethylene-propylene copolymer. Polyolefin composition contains component A) containing 85.0–99.5 wt% 1-hexene-propylene copolymer; component B) containing 0.5–15.0 wt% of an ethylene-propylene copolymer composition comprising b1) 12–52 wt% propylene homopolymer or ethylene-propylene copolymer; b2) 48–88 wt% ethylene-propylene copolymer. Content of the ethylene-derived units is 15–42 wt%. Polyolefin composition has melt flow rate (230 °C / 5 kg. ISO 1133) 0.2–4.0 g / 10 min. Sum A+B is 100 and sum b1+b2 is equal to 100. Term copolymer means that the polymer contains only two types of monomers.
EFFECT: improved impact resistance of pipes containing polyolefin composition, including 1-hexene-propylene copolymer and heterophase ethylene-propylene copolymer.
