FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a propylene-polymer composition for producing films suitable for making films, particularly biaxially oriented polypropylene BOPP films. Propylene-polymer composition contains, wt %: (a) from 45 to 55 ethylene-propylene copolymer, containing from 3.5 wt % to 5.1 wt % of links obtained from ethylene, having a melt flow index MFR, measured in accordance with ASTM D 1238, 230 °C/2.16 kg, i.e. at 230 °C and weight of 2.16 kg, ranging from 4.0 to 6.0 g/10 min and (b) from 45 wt % to 55 wt % propylene copolymer and 1-hexene, containing from 10.2 wt % to 13.0 wt % links obtained from 1-hexene, having melt flow index MFR, measured in accordance with ASTM D 1238, 230 °C/2.16 kg, i.e. at 230 °C and weight of 2.16 kg, ranging from 4.0 to 6.0 g/10 min, where the sum of the amounts of a) and b) is 100. Described also is a film which is a biaxially oriented polypropylene film BOPP containing a propylene-polymer composition.
EFFECT: technical result is providing films having low welding temperature (SIT) and high transparency.
