FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical technology of fibrous materials and relates to a method for finishing lyocell hydrated cellulose fiber in producing carbon fiber precursor. Method involves treating the initial lyocell fiber material in a solution of a carbonization catalyst containing ammonium chloride, drying the treated material, initial lyocell hydrate cellulosic material is preliminarily subjected to intensive short-term heating to the temperature of the beginning of the active pyrolysis of the fiber 150–180 °C for 1–3 minutes, heat and moisture treatment in 8–15 % aqueous solution of sodium thiosulfate at a temperature of 80–100 °C, washing and drying, additional secondary intensive short-term heating according to the preheating mode, treatment in a 17 % aqueous solution of the components of the carbonization catalyst containing ammonium chloride and diammonium phosphate with a mass ratio of components of 3:2, in the temperature range of 90–100 °C for 15–35 minutes, then the lyocell hydrated cellulose fiber material impregnated with the solution is treated in a superheated vapor-air atmosphere for 15–25 minutes at a temperature of 110–130 °C and dried at a temperature of 95–105 °C with ventilation for 15–25 min.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the strength of carbon fibers obtained on the basis of lyocell hydrated cellulose precursor and the productivity of the process for their preparation.
