FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of activated carbon fibrous materials based on hydrate-and-cellulose fibers, having high adsorption properties, which are used in chemical industry, in medicine. In the method of producing activated carbon fabric, involving activation of a carbonised tissue with a mixture of water vapor and gaseous activation products at high treatment temperatures, according to the disclosed technical solution, process of carbonisation of hydrated cellulose fabric containing catalyst in form of inorganic inclusions of salts of boron, phosphorus, chlorine and nitrogen, process of activated carbonized tissue activation and activated tissue cooling is carried out in a single complex process with continuous fabric transportation successively through pneumatically insulated but thermally interfaced carbonization, activation and cooling reaction chambers.

EFFECT: disclosed technical solution increases intensity of the activation process, increases stability and productivity of producing activated carbon tissue; according to disclosed method, activated carbon fabric with high specific surface area of fibers is obtained.
