FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermal insulation technology. Insulation locking technology with self-adhesive connecting locks named Tepofol® includes a sheet of insulation, made at the production stage from canvases of non-cross-linked polyethylene foam (NPF) with a heat-reflecting coating of roll format, which is obtained by extrusion of polyethylene foam. Two canvases of the NPF are interconnected with an indentation with the formation of a locking joint with a size of from 10 to 200 mm, on which an adhesive layer is applied. Finished canvas insulation is rolled up in a roll. When mounting directly onto the surface of the object being insulated, first mount the first roll, then mount the second roll to the first roll so that the connecting locks are butt-joined and glued together.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce heat losses in the interior, to reduce the formation of moisture and condensate, to reduce labor costs during the installation of insulation and to reduce the time for installation works.
