FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for measuring viscosity. Claimed method of measuring viscosity includes: (i) step of obtaining an image of a drop in a static state without vibration; (ii) step of applying a vibrator to communicate a drop to a vibration and obtain an image of a dynamic state in which the drop is maximally stretched in the horizontal direction or maximally stretched in the vertical direction; (iii) step of obtaining the rate of change of the static curvature and the rate of change of the dynamic curvature of the drop border from the images obtained in steps (i) and (ii); and (iv) step of substituting the ratio of the rate of change of the static curvature to the rate of change of the dynamic curvature of the drop border into the interaction equation, adjusted for the vibrator, to obtain the viscosity of the drop.

EFFECT: technical result is improved accuracy of viscosity measurement.
