SUBSTANCE: invention relates to competitive swimming, and namely to methods for assessment of stroke motions skills quality. Method for assessment of stroke arm motions skills quality of the arms during swimming is characterized in that a simulator is used which is capable of being fixed on the palms of the hands, which is a rigid plate provided with a signal element, for example, in the form of a rod fixed to its surface, while swim is carried out, during which the athlete performs strokes with his hands, while the rationality of the application of forces in different phases of the stroke is evaluated by means of oscillations of the signal element, the vibration from which is transmitted to the wrist of the athlete.
EFFECT: simplification of the method for assessment of stroke arm motions skills during swimming, as well as improving the quality of the swimmer's movements, leading to a reduction in the timing of the formation of rational swimming movements.
