FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chassis of a wheelchair. The wheelchair chassis contains onboard screw propellers in the form of cylindrical rotors with elastic helical ridges, a supporting platform for the drive system and a platform position stabilization device. Each of the onboard auger propellers is made in the form of a system of three augers on common semi-axles, two lower onboard augers in which are driven into rotation when moving back and forth and when turning and U-turning the wheelchair with a fixed upper onboard auger. The third upper side auger of each semiaxis is involved in rotation around the common semiaxis of the assembly along with the two lower augers of each semiaxis according to the satellite scheme.
EFFECT: possibility of overcoming flights of stairs.
