FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical chemistry, namely, methods for studying the qualitative composition and analysis of the quantitative content of multicomponent gas mixtures in the process stream. Method of quantitative analysis of a multicomponent gas mixture in the process stream includes the selection and preparation of samples of gas-containing material, study of the selected gas mixture with the distribution of the studied gas components between the two phases – liquid and gas, the subsequent quantitative chromatographic analysis of the sample. Before sampling prepare standard samples of the components of the mixture of the gas stream, set the calibration characteristics, carry out calibration of measurements based on liquid-extraction separation of the analyzed compounds from calibration gas mixtures, the introduction of an internal standard, gas chromatographic separation of the mixture, identifying components by mass spectra and determining the response factor of the detector for each component relative to the internal standard. Sampling in the sampler is carried out by forcing him into a multicomponent gas mixture from the stream of the existing process pipeline, at the same time determine the temperature and pressure of the process gas stream in the pipeline to establish the conditions of sampling and the molar volume of the components, study of the selected gas mixture is carried out in three stages: in the first stage, without distribution between the liquid and gas phases, at the second stage – with the distribution of components between the gas phase and the liquid phase of hexane, at the third stage – with the distribution of components between the gas phase and the liquid phase of dimethylformamide.
EFFECT: ensuring the extraction of multi-component samples from the process gas stream at elevated temperature and pressure, ability to determine the concentration and volume fractions of the components of the process gas environment to monitor the operation of filters and equipment diagnostics, ensuring environmental safety of emissions to the atmosphere.
