FIELD: production of liquefied natural gas.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technologies for the production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) at a compressor station (CS) of a main gas pipeline. A method for producing liquefied natural gas at a compressor station of a main gas pipeline, in which an additional stream of natural gas is divided into two streams; the first stream is expanded in a low-pressure expander, fed into a cycle and used to liquefy natural gas, the second stream, expanded in a high-pressure expander, is used to supply fuel gas from an additional regenerative energy gas turbine unit and gas turbine gas pumping units of the compressor station. The effective work of a technological expander, additional natural gas expanders, a gas turbine of an additional regenerative energy gas turbine unit is used to drive a gas cycle compressor, an air compressor and an electric generator that generates electricity to supply the compressor station's own needs.
EFFECT: increase in the thermodynamic efficiency of the natural gas liquefaction cycle.
