SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for packing a product (P), to a device for implementation thereof, and to the use of a device for packing a product. Method of packing the product (P) located on substrate (4) involves unwinding film (18), moving film (18) to packing unit (8), inside which packing chamber (24) is formed. Then, a certain number of trays (4) is gradually transferred to packing chamber (24) of packing unit (8) and packing chamber (24) is closed with film sheets held above respective substrate (4). Gas is not necessarily withdrawn from the hermetically sealed packaging chamber (24) and/or the gas mixture of a controlled composition is injected. Heat sealing of film (18) with substrate (4) is carried out using one or more heaters, the heating surfaces thereof are heated only for discrete and short periods of time. Device (1) for carrying out this method has a packing unit, a lower fixture with a given number of sockets, an upper fixture, internal and external heaters with a power unit and a control unit.

EFFECT: technical result achieved when using a group of inventions is to provide an improvement in the regulation of heat applied to the heating surfaces of the film at the heat sealing stage when heat sealing sections of the plastic film with the substrate on which the product is placed.
