SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the military equipment. In the method, a device for decomposition of hydrogen peroxide contains a decomposition chamber with a catalyst located inside it, made with the possibility of admission of hydrogen peroxide into it with a concentration of from 80 % to 100 % from the storage tank. Said catalyst for decomposition of hydrogen peroxide contains the active layer on a carrier containing gamma-alumina. Said carrier may also contain aluminum, and gamma-alumina is located on the surface of aluminum as a passivating layer. Said active layer may contain platinum. Above device is a rocket thruster, containing a nozzle, ensuring the creation of thrust due to the directional release of gaseous working fluid.
EFFECT: stronger catalyst for decomposition of hydrogen peroxide with a concentration of from 80 % to 100 % is ensured, which increases the efficiency of the engine by creating more thrust.
